MAZINGER Z

 Mazinger Z was the first of the "super" robots.  Sure, there were other robot heroes like Tetsuwan Atom (Astroboy) and other giant robots like Tetsujin 28 and Astroganger.  Mazinger Z was the first robot to be PILOTED (by me, Koji Kabuto) from the inside, like a driver in a car.  Mazinger fought against the kikaiju (machine monsters) created by Dr. Hell.

GREAT MAZINGER

 Mazinger Z was such a huge success that a sequel manga and TV series, Great Mazinger was born.  Unfortunately, the main hero in both wasn't me, it was Tetsuya Tsurugi.  He fought against the evil Mikene Empire.

UFO ROBO GRENDIZER

 While not really a "Mazinger", UFO Robo Grendizer features the return of the great Koji Kabuto! (Albeit as a supporting cast member...)  Grendizer chronicles the adventures of the alien prince Duke Freed in his battles against King Vega and his saucer monsters.
